Imam Hasan Centre was established on Friday 16th October 2004, coinciding with the first night of Ramadhan. It has been established in Annangrove a suburb North west of Sydney. The address being 165 Annangrove Road, Annangrove. After some initial opposition, Imam Hasan Centre has settled into the community and particpating in the community.

Imam Hasan Centre - was named after the First grandson of the Holy Prophet, Prophet Muhammad S.A.A.W. Imam Hasan A.S was an advocate for peace, and an example of his chracter can be seen in his saying "The most preferable adornment is graceful manners and the height of intelligence is associating with people amicably"
