1443 HIJRI – Calendar – AS POSTED ON JULY 1, 2021
Salaam Alaykum
Every year we spend significant time compiling the data to produce the annual Hijri Calendar, this has been a process that has been going on since circa. 1987.
Once the data is compiled we take instructions from Sheikh Mansour Leghaei and other scholars to ensure its adherence to the rules permissible by His Eminence Ayatullah Sistani.
We take the sighting of the moon seriously and watch and collect the data regularly.
Please note, every person is entitled to follow their own methods, and we respect the position of everyone regarding the sighting of the moon even though it may be different, everyone is working in good faith to do the best they can. Please respect everyone’s views.
