We invite you all to participate in the Quran competition to be held on Saturday 19th Decemebr.

All entrants will need to be at Imam Hasan Centre for the competition – online entries can only be offered for the recitation section for those who live far away from Imam Hasan Centre. (must request online entry and await confirmation)
 
Age groups U15 and Open
Ladies (separate competition) & Gents
Prize money for the winner Open Division $1000 + prizes
Prize money for U15 $500 + prizes
Prizes for all participants
 
Recitation – Rules The recitation competition will consist of 3 rounds
  • Round 1 – Surahs Al Mulk (67)
  • Round 2 – Ar Rahman (55)
  • Round 3 – Ya-Seen (36)
  • You will be given a starting Ayat from the Surah and you will need to recite from that starting point to the end point advised (Example Ayat 4 – 15)
  • Reciters reading with the best voice and following rules of TAJWEED will progress to the next round.
  • Each reciter will have between 7 – 10 mins of reciting in each round with the best reciters progressing to the next round.
Memorization – Rules The Memorization competition will consist of 3 rounds
  • Round 1 – Surahs Al Mulk (67)
  • Round 2 – Ar Rahman (55)
  • Round 3 – Ya-Seen (36)
  • You will be given a starting Ayat from the Surah and you will need to recite from that starting point to the end point advised (Example Ayat 4 – 15) – by memory only.
  • Entrants with the least errors will progress to the next round.
  • Winner will be the person with the least mistakes.

Practice Sessions
Imam Hasan Center has organised practice sessions with Hafiz-e-Quran Sheikh Mohamed Harby & Br. Abdul Qadir Alizada

Each Sunday 2.30 – 4.30 starting 25/10/2020. Cost $20 per person / 30 minute session
